Government College of Education , Parbhani

Government College of Education, CTE, Parbhani was transferred from Dhule, District Dhule in the year 1968 Since the Institute is working under the control of department of Higher & Technical Education of Government of Maharashtra especially Considering the need of teacher training College for Marathwada region.

Initially the College was affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad. Since 1994 the Institution is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
The College is single faculty department working with vision  The Moto of Institution is“ Yahkriyawan Sa Panditah “ 
“To develope Competency based Teacher Education through Skillful educational programmes and Research to bring quality and excellence in education.”
Apart from the regular B.Ed. Course this Institute also offers Vacational B.Ed. Course of Y.C.M.O.U. Nasik. This Institution is a recognized Research center of S.R.T.M.U. Nanded.
The Institute has enriched and well equipped library; and equipped laboratories i.e. Psychology laboratory, Science laboratory, ICT laboratory.
The Institute has qualified & efficient faculties & skillful working office staff.
The Institution has various Management Committees like Local Management Committee, Students Antiragging Committee, Women’s Grievance Redressal Committee, Internal Quality Assurance Cell & Right to Information Cell etc.
